Fun Sun

Do you think the Sun isn't interesting?

Well, think again. With all its rings and fiery elements, the markings, the red core, the yellow exterior and the radiation, it's quite the obje't in focus.

I was asked to make something colourful and bright for a 10-year-old friends' bedroom wall; to liven up her day. I hope she likes it.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."

Karmic

Ever seen your life flash before your eyes? Well, most likely not. Karmic, here, is a colourful rendition of an attempt at that.

It's even got Fiery Tentacles merged in it.

"The secret of successful managing is to keep the 5 guys who hate you away from the four guys who haven't made up their minds." - Casey Stengel

Full Moon

Nocturnal evangelist, caped and masked, blood-shot eyes, vividly colourful locks... get the image?

No?

Here...

Could also be a full moon. Don't ask how. Just IMAGINE! :-)

  • I've got this one printed and framed too. It's in Delhi.

Ball of the Future

Look into the crystal ball and see your future in a twisted whirl of incarnadine currents of what could be bits of memory or pieces of your destiny.

  • It is whatever you think it is.

The Devil's Number

It was in Omen II, way back when I was thirteen, that I learnt that 666 was the Devil's Number. Here's a tribute to the fascinating six sixty six.

  • I already have this printed and framed in Delhi.

GB Hole

Well, a brain, a hole, a vortex, hodgepodge, potchpotch, potpourri, gibberish, order in disorder, entropy, it's all in there.

PG Wodehouse puts it well - "Notoriously a tough egg and a fiend in human shape."

IMAGINE THE UNIMAGINABLE !

Whirring Aberration

On the same base as Rye Whirlpool, but still distinctly different, Whirring Aberration is exactly what it suggests - an aberration, a discontinuity, a singularity, an eye-sore.

"It is a colourful canvas of human relationships, all bound by sadness."

Rye Whirlpool

Don't ask me why I named it 'Rye Whirlpool'. Probably because it's like a whirlpool steeped in flotsam and phosphorescence.

It's quite detailed if you see the close up.

"One of the things that discourages me about rural life is the frightful earliness with which events begin to break loose." - PGW

Rotor Blades

Imagine you're looking at a helicopter from the top, it's blades are whirring, and colourful red and yellow lights are impinging on them. The runway lights are lit.

"The prevalent impulse of the mind is reflected upon the physical frame and it is carried forward in the process of procreation."

Muck Spout

It is 8 o'clock at night. You're a tramp. Wandering in the by-lanes of the city. It's raining slightly. You haven't had anything for three straight days. Your clothes are in tatters. You're dirty. You're miserable. You're salivating. How could it be worse?

Well, you're thirsty and you open an industry-sized valve on a pipeline hoping to wash your face and drink cool, fresh water but instead what do you get? MUCK SPOUT!! Green and black slime spewing out from the innards of the pipe, with mediocre force.

On your face!

Blimey!!

Difficult times.

"Reality i merely an ILLUSION, albeit a very persistent one." - Albert Einstein

Livid Dining Mat

What happens when non-living objects get a life? What happens when things of daily use start to feel, and react? With fine, long, red brush strokes (of what could be blood), here's a dining mat gone mad.

Go have your supper now!

Do you see "eye-to-eye"?

"Rain started to come down in buckets."

Fiery Tentacles

This is one of the first pictures I created.

  • Giant tentacles on fire.
  • Or perhaps electro-magnetic waves, being sucked into a vortex.

10" x 8", 7.2 MP. Once framed, would be a decent 13" x 11".

"Man is puny in size. No claws, no wings. Only 5 feet tall. Yet Man has imposed his will on the rest of the Creation. Why? How?"
